"To bring people to Christ and bring Christ to the people"

The spiritual journey needs fellow travelers, guides and wisdom from the past. Trinity is committed to making this connection through worship services and sermons, classes and seasonal events. The spiritual life can be relevant to real life–come and see!

Spiritual Resources at Trinity

Wednesday Bible Study: Meeting on Zoom after the Wednesday 10:00 service (currently Livestreamed), this free-ranging class delves into the Scripture readings for that day. Email rector@trinityescondido.org for the link to join in.

Thursday Bible Study: Thursday afternoons in the parish office, members of Trinity study the Sunday readings with an eye to personal experience and application. Email Sydney Lowe for more information.

Sacred Ground: Responding to the need for Racial Reconciliation, the National Episcopal Church has created a program called Sacred Ground. Using videos and short readings, participants come to understand the history of racism in the US and seek to create new structures of understanding. Sacred Ground groups are closed, but new ones are forming. Email for more information.

Daughters of the King: An international Anglican Order for women. Following a period of study and discernment, members take on a vow of regular prayer, study and service. Trinity’s DOK chapter meets monthly.   Trinity’s Daughters also join with other chapters in San Diego for spiritual retreats.  Learn more about the Order at the national DOK website.

Growing in Grace: Our class for adults of a certain (retired) age, meeting weekly, led by the Rev. Carolyn Richardson. Book discussions last 6-8 weeks, so you can join a series when it works for you. The group provides an opportunity for support and fellowship as well as a time to discuss relevant issues. The class is not meeting at this time.

Rector’s Forum: Sundays at 9:00, join the changing discussion. Anything from current events to canonical criticism might on on the agenda. No preparation needed–just an openness to learning. Covid update: The Rector’s Forum is not meeting at this time.
