Christians are people with nothing in common except Christ, but in him, they share all.
It is a rare opportunity to meet people who nare not just like us, and already part of our social comfort zone. Church is one of those few communities where people from different backgrounds and lives meet and explore the possibilities of friendship across the boundaries.
Every congregation needs an opportunity to connect, and what better way to meet the other members of the Body of Christ than over snacks? After-church snacks are an important part of every Sunday, whether we’re treating ourselves to local donuts or a celebratory cake. Through this all-important ministry, new connections and friendships might be made, new insights shared, and we all get to practice what it means to be the Body of Christ, all different, and yet the same.
Is Coffee Hour the 8th Sacrament? It just might be!
Help us provide this crucial space for connections by hosting a Coffee Hour. We provide the drinks, you provide the treats. Offer your Pinterest best, or pick up some treats at the 99c store–it’s up to you, but whatever you offer, know that your gift builds the community of Trinity, and what could be more important?
